Project Brief:

Love is power is a print that depicts that love, kindness, and empathy are far stronger than the stereotypical concept of strength that has been portrayed by hegemonic masculinity. Love, Kindness, and Empathy show an innate sense of maturity and are all qualities that are often times represented in femininity. This print was initially printed as a linocut relief print and later a adapted into a larger screen-print. I completed this project for my Politics and Print with Robert Tillman during the Spring 2022 semester at MICA.
